WOW! I am truly delighted to have received this award from Jackie. Thank you :-) I am passing this award on to these lovely people for their inspirational blogs and the hand of friendship they have held out to me:
Here is another card I have enjoyed making. The star is really prominent as it is on several layers of card with foam pads between. I like that dove and the star are hiding the little nativity scene - like the old style advent calendars always used to have a nativity scene for the 25th December.
Here are some of my recent makes. Most of them have gone to a charity sale, except the birthday card which was for my good friend Sarah, and the two snowman ATCs which are for the CB swap. I have been lucky enough to be given a CraftRobo as an early Christmas pressie and have enjoyed playing around with it. The Let it Snow and Peace on Earth cards were made with templates I bought from Tina at www.forevermemoriesforyou.co.uk and from Debbie at www.cardmakingheaven.co.uk Hope you like my latest efforts.
Wanna make me happy? Give me card, ribbons, gems, dies and papers galore; then follow up with beads, findings, more beads, wires and - oh yes, more beads. I confess, I am a crafter, and one who is utterly addicted to all things home made. I’ve even been known to try my hand at cross stitch and machine sewing. When I’m not crafting, I love reading – mostly novels and mostly fantasy. I also garden, and this year am growing my own for the first time. Honestly, watching the tender little plants (some of which I raised from seeds) is like tending to babies. I love them! Above and beyond all the foregoing passions is my love for Twinkle. Now, you may think Twinkle looks like a cat – and truth be told she does often behave like one, but I know she is my little soulmate and the most precious little being in the world.
